“We need to ensure continued hard work, and with collective effort, Pakistan will surely achieve its rightful place,” said the Prime Minister. Discussing the importance of creating favourable domestic conditions for economic growth, he underscored that the upcoming budget would be crucial in setting the stage for the country’s economic agenda.
He expressed optimism about Pakistan’s potential if the nation works tirelessly towards its goals.
The prime minister also paid tribute to Lieutenant Hassan Ashraf, who was martyred in a confrontation with foreign terrorists.
He praised the 21-year-old officer for sacrificing his life to protect the nation and vowed that such sacrifices would ensure lasting peace and prosperity in Pakistan.
On the infrastructure front, PM Shehbaz officially inaugurated the Tayyip Erdoğan Interchange in Islamabad.
This new interchange is expected to significantly improve travel for residents of the twin cities, with enhanced traffic flow through flyovers, U-turns, and new roads.
The project, completed in just 84 days, was executed at a fraction of the projected budget and stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to efficient development.
Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi also highlighted the project’s completion in record time and emphasised the positive impact it will have on Islamabad’s aesthetics and traffic management.
