PAF contingent returns after stellar performance in ‘Spears of Victory’ exercise

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) contingent has returned home after participating in the Spears of Victory 2025 exercise held at King Abdulaziz Air Base, Saudi Arabia.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), PAF’s participation demonstrated top-tier operational training and professionalism.

Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jets once again made headlines, delivering an exceptional performance against some of the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft.

With outstanding operational capabilities and cutting-edge technology, the JF-17 Thunder emerged as the centre of attention throughout the exercise.

Non-stop deployment and aerial refuelling

PAF’s fighter jets conducted a non-stop flight from their home base to Saudi Arabia and back, showcasing their long-range operational capabilities.

During the transit, the JF-17 Thunder Block III demonstrated mid-air refuelling, a key indicator of the aircraft’s strategic endurance and combat readiness.

The Spears of Victory exercise aimed to simulate realistic aerial combat scenarios and enhance international military cooperation.

The drills featured participation from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Bahrain, and France, while Greece, Qatar, the UAE, the US, and the UK also took part.

According to the ISPR, PAF’s JF-17 Thunder Block III outperformed several advanced fighter jets during the exercise. The aircraft’s technical superiority and combat effectiveness received widespread recognition.

The Pakistan Air Force’s successful participation in Spears of Victory 2025 is a testament to its high-level operational training, tactical expertise, and world-class professionalism.
