Pakistan will always protect Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, says Shehbaz

Assures investors of Pakistan’s macroeconomic stability

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he emphasised that Pakistan will never allow any threat to Saudi Arabia’s security.

The prime minister also highlighted his engagements during the World Government Summit in Dubai, where he met with top leaders from Sri Lanka, Bosnia, and Kuwait.

Investor confidence in Pakistan

During his visit, PM Shehbaz met with Pakistani investors in Dubai, who shared valuable insights and urged him to enhance the country’s business-friendly environment.

He assured them that Pakistan has achieved macroeconomic stability and is now focusing on accelerating economic growth.

“We are working day and night to boost economic expansion. I invite you to visit Pakistan, share your proposals, and we will actively consider and implement them,” he told investors.

The premier also held talks with DP World’s CEO, discussing the Karachi-to-Pipri project, which is now set for implementation.

Pakistan’s strong stance on Gaza

At the Dubai summit, PM Shehbaz forcefully presented Pakistan’s stance on Gaza, condemning Israel’s aggression.

He highlighted that 50,000 Palestinians have been martyred, calling it one of the worst examples of genocide in history.

Expressing hope for peace, he stressed the need for post-war reconstruction and ensuring Palestinians have opportunities to rebuild their lives.

Pakistan-Saudi ties remain strong

Reiterating Pakistan’s historic support for Saudi Arabia on global forums, PM Shehbaz emphasised that the Kingdom is a brotherly nation and a trusted ally.

“Pakistan has always stood by Saudi Arabia and will continue to do so. We will never allow any harm to its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” he declared.

The prime minister’s remarks reinforce Pakistan’s commitment to regional stability, economic growth, and strong diplomatic ties with its key allies.
