Gold prices decline significantly in Pakistan

Latest gold rates for January 28

Gold prices experienced a decline in Pakistan on Monday, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs300 settling at Rs289,100 per tola compared to Sunday’s price of Rs289,400. This translates to a decrease of Rs257 per 10 grams, bringing the price down to Rs247,856 from Rs248,113.

While 24-karat gold saw a decrease, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold bucked the trend, rising slightly to Rs227,209 from Rs227,445.

Silver also experienced a price drop. The price per tola of silver decreased by Rs14 to Rs3,395, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs12, reaching Rs2,910.

The decline in domestic gold prices mirrors a similar trend in the international market, where gold prices dropped by $3, settling at $2,767 per ounce compared to $2,770 on the previous trading day.
