Karachi police have released a list of over 110 domestic workers with criminal records, identifying them as suspects in numerous theft cases across the city’s affluent areas.

The list includes photographs, mobile phone numbers, and addresses of the women, many of whom have been arrested in the past, secured bail, and subsequently absconded.

South Zone police officials stated that these domestic workers operated in an organized manner, often committing thefts during their employment.

While many have been previously arrested and jailed, the released images show those who have been released on bail and are currently at large.

Police are urging citizens to exercise caution when hiring domestic help, advising against employing any individuals on the released list.

They strongly recommend registering details of domestic workers at the nearest police station before employing them, which will aid in apprehension should any criminal activity occur.
