Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has taken significant measures to bolster security at his residence, Galaxy Apartments, by installing bulletproof glass and enhancing overall safety protocols.

The decision comes in response to persistent death threats, notably from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

A recent video shared on social media captures workers fitting protective glass panels on Khan’s balcony and windows.

Such security upgrades follow a shooting incident that occurred in April 2024, where two assailants opened fire near the entrance of his Bandra home.

The Mumbai Police have ramped up security around Salman and his family following a shooting incident that resulted in no injuries. The move comes after the actor received repeated death threats, particularly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Khan, who has dealt with threats throughout his career, is under constant police protection and has also acquired a firearm license for personal safety due to rising concerns.

On the professional side, the 57-year-old actor is gearing up for the release of his eagerly awaited film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, which is scheduled to debut during Eid 2025. The film boasts a talented cast that includes Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj and is expected to deliver thrilling action sequences.
