Viral rumors of YouTuber Luke Damant’s death proven false after Instagram post
Amidst a wave of misinformation, Australian travel YouTuber Luke Damant has confirmed that he is alive and well, despite widespread rumors claiming he had died in Afghanistan.
The speculation began when social media posts circulated, stating that Damant had been “pronounced dead in Jalalabad” after reportedly disappearing upon entering the country three weeks prior.
In a lighthearted response to the situation, Damant mocked the rumors by sharing a humorous mock obituary on his social media, stating he had met his end while attempting to break a Guinness World Record for eating cheese parathas.
He quipped about transforming into a cheese paratha after an unfortunate attempt at his food challenge.
Addressing the bizarre situation, Damant expressed disbelief at the scale of the rumors, saying, “Guys, I’m f****ng chilling!” He emphasized that he simply took a break for the New Year and was surprised that his absence led to such extreme assumptions about his well-being.
The 24-year-old travel vlogger expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans who reached out with heartfelt messages, while also responding to detractors with a defiant, “F*** you! I’m back, mother f*****r.”
