Verdict in £190 million case postponed once again

This marks the third time the announcement date has been changed

The long-awaited verdict in a £190 million case has been postponed yet again, sources have confirmed.

The decision, which was reserved by the court on December 18, will not be delivered tomorrow as previously anticipated, according to sources.

This marks the third time the announcement date has been changed.

Sources indicate that lawyers involved in the case will be informed of the new date for the verdict tomorrow. No reason for the latest postponement has been publicly given.

The Accountability Court had reserved its judgment in December, concluding a trial that lasted one year and involved the recording of statements from 35 witnesses by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). PTI lawyers cross-examined these witnesses.

Key witnesses included former Principal Secretary Azam Khan, former Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, and former Federal Minister Zubaida Jalal. The charges in the 190 million pound reference were framed on February 27th of last year.
