KP plans to eliminate weapons, bunkers following Apex Committee decision in 15 days
The advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information Barrister Saif has announced plans to rid the region of weapons and bunkers regarding the decision made in the Apex Committee meeting within 15 days.
Both parties involved in the agreement are required to submit a coordinated plan for the collection of weapons.
Barrister Saif revealed that travel and security arrangements for an upcoming convoy scheduled for Saturday are currently underway.
He emphasized that there will be a strict ban on the free display and use of weapons, as well as a prohibition on collecting donations for their purchase.
The agreement also includes a ban on the construction of any new bunkers by either party. Existing bunkers are to be dismantled within one month.
