IDF confirms killing of Hamas Nukhba Platoon commander Abd al-Hadi Sabah in drone strike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed on Tuesday that they have killed the commander of Hamas’ Nukhba Platoon, Abd al-Hadi Sabah, in a recent drone strike.
Sabah was reportedly involved in the October 7 attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz during the recent conflict.
According to the IDF, the strike took place in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, where Sabah was operating from a shelter in a designated humanitarian area.
The IDF described him as a key figure in the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz and stated that he had orchestrated multiple attacks against IDF personnel throughout the ongoing war.
The IDF pledged to continue targeting individuals responsible for the October 7 massacre.
In a post on X, IDF said, “Abd al-Hadi Sabah, a Nukhba Platoon Commander in the Western Khan Yunis Battalion was eliminated in an intelligence-based IDF and ISA strike.”
“Abd al-Hadi Sabah – who operated from a shelter in the Humanitarian Area in Khan Yunis – was one of the leaders of the infiltration into Kibbutz Nir Oz during the murderous October 7 Massacre. Sabah also led and advanced numerous terrorist attacks against IDF troops throughout the current war,” the IDF further added.

The IDF announced that, in collaboration with the Shin Bet (Israel’s General Security Service), its units have recently eliminated 14 Hamas terrorists, six of whom were directly linked to the October 7 massacre. These operations were part of the IDF’s 162nd “Steel” Division, which has been actively operating in the Jabalia and Beit Lahia areas of Gaza.
“The IDF and ISA will continue to operate against all of the terrorists who took part in the murderous October 7 Massacre.”
Additionally, earlier on Tuesday, the IDF and Israel’s Security Agency (ISA) announced the elimination of Anas Muhammad Saadi Masri, who commanded the northern sector of the rocket unit for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
