Protests broke out in the town of Jamrud, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as residents expressed their frustration over ongoing electricity load shedding.

Demonstrators took action by cutting off the industrial electricity supply from the Jamrud grid station after failed negotiations with local authorities.

Frustrated by the frequent power outages, which they claimed that there is only two hours of electricity within a 24-hour period, the protesters entered the grid station to demand immediate solutions.

They argued that the power shortages are severely disrupting daily life and are calling for improved electricity supply to the area.
