On the directive of the Deputy Commissioner, the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) has initiated a two-month Youth Digital Entrepreneurship Training in the district.

The program currently involves 30 participants from local youth and Afghan refugee communities, focusing on equipping them with practical skills in modern digital technology for self-sufficiency.

SRSP Program Manager Rais Khan visited the training center to meet with the participants. The program aims to help youth establish themselves in the digital landscape, with sessions conducted three days a week.

These sessions blend practical and theoretical education in a state-of-the-art training facility, ensuring that participants gain both the latest tech skills and the practical knowledge necessary for success in the business arena.

During the inaugural ceremony, Rais Khan emphasized the program’s significance, stating that it would be a key step in enhancing the professional skills of the youth, generating new employment opportunities, and fostering community harmony.

He noted that such initiatives not only promote economic stability but also contribute significantly to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
