Cases filed against 12 people for anti-state statements on social media

THe posts were inciting rebellion and disrupting state affairs, according to the FIR

The government has initiated strict action against those making defamatory and inflammatory statements on social media against state institutions.

According to the sources, FIRs have been registered against 12 suspects so far, while narrowing the circle around those spreading fake propaganda against the state.

The accused included in the FIR are Mian Zeeshan Sajid, Faheem Khan, Muhammad Owais, Manuchehr, Aziz Ahmed, Saeed Adnan Khurshid, Muhammad Asad, Malik Ismatullah Khan, Inayatullah, Sultan Mehmood Khan, Kaleemullah and Aurangzeb.

These accused belong to different areas including Karachi, Sanghar, Quetta, Pashin, Qila Abdullah and Swat.

According to the sources, these accused are involved in defamatory activities on social media, inciting rebellion and disrupting state affairs, strict legal action is being taken against them and other accused.
