Indian actress Shobitha Shivanna was found dead in her apartment in the Kondapur area of Hyderabad, according to a report by the news agency ANI, citing police sources.

Authorities suspected that she may have died by suicide.

A police official confirmed to ANI, “Kannada actress Shobhitha Shivanna was found dead in her apartment. She allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Kondapur, within the limits of PS Gachibowli. The police have registered a case.”

The exact circumstances surrounding her death are still unclear, and an investigation is currently underway.

Her body has been transferred to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Actress Geeta Bharti Bhatt expressed her sorrow over Shobitha’s passing by sharing unseen photos of them together on Instagram. She wrote, “RIP Shobitha avre. You shouldn’t have left us this way. Your smile, love for life, and very presence will be deeply missed!”
