Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey was discovered dead at her residence in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The untimely demise of the talented artist came after she left a cryptic message on her WhatsApp status.

The police suspect that she died by suicide, as reported by NDTV.

Amrita Pandey’s lifeless body was found on April 27 at her home in Bihar. Although no suicide note was recovered by the authorities, her mysterious WhatsApp status before her passing raised concerns.

The message read, “Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya” (His/her life was sailing on two boats, I made their journey easy by sinking mine).

Her family revealed that Amrita had been battling depression and stress due to a lack of work opportunities.

She resided in Mumbai with her husband Chandramani Jhangad, who worked as an animation engineer.

While her husband returned home after attending her sister’s wedding in Bhagalpur on April 18, Amrita chose to stay back.

She even posted good wishes for her sister and brother-in-law on social media platform Instagram, quoting, “Congratulations you both, wish you a happy married life.” Five days before her death, she shared a picture of herself dressed in a wedding outfit.

Her followers expressed shock and disbelief upon learning about her tragic demise.

Amrita Pandey had acted alongside Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav in the film “Deewanapan” and had also appeared in Hindi movies, TV shows, and web series.
