Khawaja Asif responds to Gandapur’s challenge on imposition of governor’s rule in KP
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif took to social media to address Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s comments on imposition of governor’s rule in KP.
Asif dismissed Gandapur’s threats as mere theatrics, stating, “There’s no need to respond to his antics; no one from PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leadership attends his meetings.”
He further remarked on the lack of trust in Gandapur, referencing an incident in Blue Area where Gandapur’s vehicle was reportedly attacked with shoes and sticks during his escape.
Asif questioned Gandapur’s confidence following three unsuccessful attempts to attack Islamabad and suggested it was a difficult decision to determine who is the greater fraud between Gandapur and Bushra Bibi.
“If you have courage, impose governor’s rule,” Gandapur said while addressing the KP Assembly session. He warned that if provoked, the party could also rally against the government, emphasising, “The nation is aware of this theatrical drama.”
