Gold prices take a dive in Pakistan
Gold prices took a hit in Pakistan as the cost of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs300, selling at Rs 267,400 on Saturday, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association. This marks a significant shift from the previous price of Rs267,700.
In a notable shift for gold buyers, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs258, settling at Rs229,252, down from Rs229,510. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a decrease to Rs210,148 from Rs210,384.
While gold experienced a downturn, silver prices remained stable, with per tola silver holding at Rs3,250 and 10 grams at Rs2,786.
On the international front, gold prices also dipped, decreasing by $3 to $2,562 from $2,565, according to the association. This dual decline in both local and global markets could present opportunities for savvy investors and buyers alike.
