A private television channel employee was killed in a hit-and-run incident on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi.

Police reported that an unknown vehicle struck the victim, Khalid Iqbal, near Wireless Gate, and the driver fled the scene.

A search for the vehicle is underway.

Iqbal, who served as a shift in-charge at the television channel, was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
