JI postpones ‘Gaza Million March’ in Islamabad
Jamaat-e-Islami has postponed its planned Gaza Million March in Islamabad. The march will now take place after the Shanghai Cooperation Conference, with a new date to be announced soon.
According to a Jamaat-e-Islami spokesperson, the postponement is due to security concerns in Islamabad.
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, will address a public gathering in support of Palestine at Melody Market tomorrow.
It’s worth noting that Jamaat-e-Islami had originally announced the Gaza Million March for October 7.
Karachi protest to go ahead as planned
Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Munim Zafar stated that Israel, aided by the US and Western countries, has become a “bloodthirsty beast,” responsible for the deaths of over 45,000 Muslims.
He announced a “historic Al-Aqsa Million March” on Shahrah-e-Faisal today in solidarity with Palestinians and for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Reports indicate that Jamaat-e-Islami has completed preparations for the march. In a press conference, Zafar said that the march has the support of various political parties and aims to show solidarity with Palestinians.
He reiterated that Israel, backed by the US and Western nations, is a brutal force, and the entire Muslim Ummah must unite to raise its voice for the liberation of Al-Aqsa and for Palestinian rights.
