Excise cracks down on tinted windows and unregistered cars in Islamabad
The Excise Departmenthas initiated a crackdown in Islamabad on vehicles with tinted windows and those that are unregistered, imposing heavy fines as part of a new enforcement campaign.
The department has reported that fines for vehicles with tinted windows will range from Rs5,000 to Rs10,000, while unregistered vehicles will incur penalties starting at Rs15,000. This initiative aims to enhance road safety and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
Officials stated that the enforcement drive will target all areas of the capital, with particular attention given to high-traffic zones.
The campaign is part of broader efforts to improve law enforcement on the roads and address issues related to vehicle registration and modifications.
