There has been a significant increase in gold prices in global and local markets, reaching new record highs.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola reached a historic high of Rs275,500, following an increase of Rs2,500.

Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams also rose by Rs 2,144, reaching a new peak of Rs236,197. The price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold is now at Rs216,514.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce increased by $25, climbing to a record level of $2,653.
