Gold prices reach new all-time high in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan reached a new all-time high of Rs272,500 per tola in Pakistan after the yellow metal price for one tola of gold rose by Rs500.
The price for 10 grams of gold climbed to Rs233,625, marking an increase of Rs429, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.
On Friday, gold prices surged by Rs3,500, settling at Rs272,000 per tola.
Internationally, gold prices also saw a rise on Saturday, with the rate reaching $2,622 per ounce (plus a $20 premium), a daily increase of $10.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola.
