Wife of late Indian composer reminds Shah Rukh Khan of promise for support for son
In a heartfelt plea, Vijayta Pandit, wife of the late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, has appealed to actor Shah Rukh Khan to support her son Avitesh’s career in the film industry.
Avitesh, a singer, music composer, and actor, is struggling to gain a foothold in the industry despite his talent and hard work. Vijayta revealed that Avitesh has collaborated with international artists like Akon and French Montana, but faces a lack of support and direction in Bollywood.
Recalling her husband’s close friendship with Shah Rukh Khan, Vijayta shared that Aadesh, in his final days battling cancer, had gestured towards Avitesh and requested Shah Rukh to look after him.
She expressed her inability to contact Shah Rukh and urged him to fulfill his promise to Aadesh by supporting Avitesh’s career.
Vijayta emphasized Avitesh’s talent as an actor, highlighting his upcoming film “Sir Ek Friday” and his dedication to his craft.
She believes that a small push from Shah Rukh could make a significant difference in Avitesh’s career.
Vijayta also pointed out the significant role her brothers, the music composer duo Jatin-Lalit, played in Shah Rukh Khan’s early success, providing him with hit songs for films like “Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman,” “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge,” and “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.” She believes that Shah Rukh, who is now a “big star,” should reciprocate the support her family provided him.
