Aamir Khan in talks to star in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next project
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is in negotiations to lead a significant project directed by acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, according to Indian media reports.
This collaboration would mark Khan’s return to the big screen after a two-year hiatus following his film Laal Singh Chaddha in 2022.
Aamir is enthusiastic about partnering with Kanagaraj for a pan-India film, reports said. The news was first announced on the official X account of the Telugu portal Aakashavaani, which stated, “BIG BREAKING – A Mindblowing Combo!! #AamirKhan, #LokeshKanagaraj, and #MythriMovies are teaming up for a PAN India film soon.”
The portal further mentioned that discussions between Aamir, Kanagaraj, and Mythri Movies are in advanced stages and the project is expected to come to fruition soon. This collaboration is highly anticipated within the film industry and among fans.

Kanagaraj is fresh off the success of his latest film Leo, starring Vijay, which released in 2023. He is currently busy with his upcoming project titled “Coolie” and has gained recognition for directing hits such as Maanagaram, Kaithi, and Vikram.
