The ceiling of a factory room in the sub-tehsil of Chak Jhumra, Faisalabad collapsed, resulting in the death of three workers.

According to the police, the incident occurred due to heavy rainfall in the area.

The downpour caused the ceiling, which was already in a weakened state, to cave in, burying the workers underneath the debris.

Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene and were able to retrieve the three deceased workers as well as one injured worker.

The injured worker was transported to the local hospital for medical treatment.
