Four terrorists of ‘Fitna Al Khawarij’ killed in Tank operation: ISPR
At least four “Kharji terrorists of Fitna Al Khawarij” were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces during an operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank on Saturday, the military’s media wing said.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations said that the operation was conducted on the reported presence of terrorists.
The terrorists “remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as abduction and target killing of civilians,” it said and added that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the site.
Sanitisation operation was conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, the ISPR said and added: “Security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.”
This is the second operation in two days where a Khawarij terrorist has been killed. On Friday, a Khawarji terrorist, identified as Razzaq, was killed in KP’s North Waziristan.
“He was a close associate of Khawarji Gul Bahadur and was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area including the target killing of Malik Sher Muhammad, grandson of Faqir of Ippi on January 6, 2023, as well as facilitation of suicide bombing attack in North Waziristan on March 16, 2024, in which seven soldiers were martyred,” the ISPR said on Friday.
