KP Govt hikes rents for govt accommodation rooms
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has increased the rents of government accommodation rooms in Peshawar, Islamabad, and Abbottabad. The Administrative Affairs Department has issued a notification regarding this.
According to the notification, the KP government has approved an increase in the rents of government accommodation rooms as the daily rent for provincial employees at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House has been increased from Rs2,200 to Rs4,400.
Additionally, federal ministers, senators, advisors, and MNAs staying at the KP House will now have to pay a daily rent of Rs5,800, up from the previous rate of Rs3,700.
The notification also states that the rents at the Shahi Mehman Khana (Royal Guest House) in Peshawar have also been increased. The rent for VIP rooms has been increased from Rs. 2,200 to Rs. 4,400, while the rent for regular rooms has been increased from Rs2,700 to Rs3,600.
The daily rent at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Abbottabad has also been raised from Rs1,800 to Rs3,600.
