Pakistan Navy commando leaves valima to recover tourist’s body
A Pakistan Navy’s SSG commando has recovered a tourist’s body from a river in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Bhimber district in the middle of his valima ceremony.
The boy, belonging to Sargodha, came to visit his relatives in Samahni Jandala of Bhimber. The boy drowned while swimming in the river.
Rescue 1122 teams called Pakistan Navy SSG Commando Ummar Ali for help who was attending his valima ceremony.
Ali left his valima and reached the site to lead the rescue operations. After two hours, the SSG commando recovered the body.
The local community praised Ali on social media for his courage.
