A woman has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing her husband with the help of two accomplices.

The woman, identified as Nusrat Phulpoto, conspired with her brothers, Abdul Khaliq Phulpoto and Abdul Sattar Phulpoto, to kill her husband, Allah Bakhsh Phulpoto.

Nusrat and her brothers carried out the murder On February 5, 2021. After killing Allah Bakhsh, they disposed of his body in a banana orchard.

After an investigation, the three perpetrators were arrested and charged with murder.

In a recent court hearing conducted via video link, Special Judge Muhammad Islamul Haq Arrain found them guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment.

Each individual was fined Rs300,000.

The court documents revealed that Allah Bakhsh and Nusrat frequently argued about her male relatives’ visits. This conflict ultimately led to the tragic killing.

If the convicted individuals fail to pay the fines, they will face an additional six months of imprisonment.
