Interior ministry approves deployment of FC in AJK

The request was made by AJK's PM

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has approved the deployment of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) in Azad Kashmir, following a request from the Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq.

During a meeting at the Ministry of Interior in Islamabad, the two leaders discussed the security situation and law and order in Azad Kashmir.

The meeting also touched upon the political situation and the budget for the new fiscal year in Azad Kashmir.

Interior Minister Naqvi assured the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir that the federal government will provide full support to maintain peace in the region and will work to improve security arrangements.

“We are fulfilling our promises to the people of Azad Kashmir,” said Naqvi. “The Government of Pakistan stands with the Azad Kashmir government and its people. We will provide all possible cooperation for the prosperity and development of Azad Kashmir.”

Prime Minister ul Haq expressed his gratitude to the federal government for taking immediate action to address the issues.

The deployment of the FC is expected to enhance security measures and contribute to maintaining peace and stability in Azad Kashmir.
