According to Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a dedicated security plan has been formulated for mosques, Imambargahs, and Eid prayer gatherings. This plan involves the deployment of 40,000 officers to secure 26,500 mosques, Imambargahs, and 900 open Eid gatherings.

In Lahore alone, over 6,000 officers will be deployed to secure more than 5,000 Eid prayer gatherings. Additionally, 498 special police personnel, 260 Quick Response Force teams, 13,249 metal detectors, 217 walk-through gates, and 4,475 CCTV cameras will be utilized for security arrangements.
