Lead actors Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, and Matt Smith shared juicy details about what viewers can expect when the new episodes of the show “House of the Dragon” debuts on June 16.

D’Arcy, who plays Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, revealed that her character is “stricken with grief, almost paralyzed by it” after the shocking events that ended season 1.

“She’s unable to act clearly” as she grapples with the death of her son at the hands of her nephew Aemond.

Cooke, who portrays Alicent Hightower, Rhaenyra’s former friend turned rival, said her character is “f**king terrified” as the looming civil war between the Targaryen claimants to the Iron Throne becomes unavoidable.

Smith whilst giving sneak peak of his role explained the his character storyline , “A lot of the things you know about him become slightly unstuck.

He unravels, essentially, it’s like a piece of yarn tumbling away in the wind a bit. He sort of loses his mind a bit.“
