PTI blamed for measles outbreak in Punjab
The Punjab Health Minister has held the PTI government responsible for the spread of the measles in the province.
Provincial Ministers Kh. Imran Nazir and Kh. Salman Rafique held a press conference in Lahore regarding the spread of measles in Punjab.
Nazir said that if the previous government had paid attention, the Muslim League (N) government would not have had to bear all this.
He said that the Punjab government is taking measures to improve the health sector and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is paying special attention to the health and education sectors, however, ‘we are bearing the damages of the previous government’s tenure.’
The minister said that the PTI government did not pay attention to the vaccination of children in the province, and if they had paid attention, the Muslim League (N) government would not have had to bear all this.
