Elon Musk reclaims world’s second richest person spot from Jeff Bezos
The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk has regained the world’s second richest person from American businessman Jeff Bezos.
Musk is now richer than Jeff Bezos richer than Jeff Bezos whose wealth was approximately $200 billion on Tuesday.
However, the top rank as the world’s richest person is held by the LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault.
Musk’s position upgraded due to a 6% increase in Tesla’s shares, which are settled at at over $185 each.
It is reported that the company shares increased due to a deal between Tesla and Chinese internet giant Baidu on electric vehicles in China.
However, Bezos lost an estimated $366 million on Tuesday, causing a slip in his net worth below $200 billion due to the whopping shrinking of Amazon’s shares.
There is a unique competition between Musk and Bezos for the world’s second-richest person since 2021.
