Salman Khan reveals he never prayed for his films’ success, except one
Indian actor Salman Khan shared an intriguing perspective on the success of his films, revealing that he has never prayed for their success, except for his first film, “Maine Pyaar Kiya.”
In an interview with India Today Digital, he shared that that the real measure of a film’s worth lies in the audience’s hands and that they should enjoy it.
“Sikandar success depends upon the mercy of people, fans or families who want to go and see the film,” he said.
“But me [Salman Khan] praying ki ‘ye picture hit honi chahiye, ussey badi honi chahiye’ (This film should be a hit, it should be even bigger), I have not done that. Whatever the result of the film, whether it’s a hit or flop, I have not done that.”
Salman Khan addressed the rumors regarding his work ethic, specifically the claims that he often arrives late to shoots.
He clarified his position on discipline and dedication in the industry, stating that there are numerous stories about him being late and not taking his work seriously.
He emphasized that he has acted in over 100 films, more than anyone else except for his senior colleagues, and asserted that such accomplishments would not be possible if he were consistently late or leaving early.
“There is a discipline 100%, but my timings are different. Some people start working at 6 am, I start around 11:30- 12 because I’ve got a lot of other work to do, like signing a lot of papers, making calls, and working out. Then I have to come back, relax, have my coffee, and understand the scene,” he added.
