Tehreek-e-Tahfuz-e-Ayin-e-Pakistan announces rally in Pakistan

The movement includes six parties including PTI

The Tehreek-e-Tahfuz-e-Ayin-e-Pakistan has announced a gathering in Islamabad on June 8th.

In a tweet on the social media platform X (Twitter), opposition leader Omar Ayub informed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to hold a gathering in Islamabad under the banner of the Tehreek-e-Tahfuz-e-Ayin-e-Pakistan. They have also submitted a request for permission to hold the rally at Islamabad’s F-9 Park.

Omar Ayub stated that a hearing regarding the permission for the rally in Islamabad is scheduled to take place at the Lahore High Court on Tuesday, while the target date for the rally in Karachi is June 2nd.

It is noteworthy that the head of the Tehreek-e-Tahfuz-e-Ayin-e-Pakistan in Pakistan is senior politician Mahmood Achakzai, and it includes six political parties, including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Previously, the gathering of the Tehreek-e-Tahfuz-e-Ayin-e-Pakistan, scheduled to take place in Islamabad on May 19th, was canceled due to non-issuance of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the administration.

The participating parties in the Tehreek-e-Tahfuz-e-Ayin-e-Pakistan have announced a nationwide movement against alleged electoral rigging in the elections, including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

They have accused the political parties involved in the alliance, including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, of committing electoral fraud in the general elections held on February 8th, 2024, involving corrupt officials.
