Transgender persons robbed and assaulted by gang in Punjab
Transgender persons traveling from Hasilpur to Okara in Arifwala, Punjab were robbed by seven robbers on Wednesday.
The robbers were armed with weapons and forcefully robbed the victims of their vehicles, mobile phones, cash, and valuable gold ornaments along the Arifwala Bypass.
The situation escalated when the culprits kidnapped the transgender persons and subjected them to physical torture while attempting to molest them.
The virtual women police station came to the rescue as they received a distress call from the transgender individuals.
The police swiftly sprang into action, cordoning off the area and intercepting a suspicious vehicle near village 66 EB.

However, the robbers retaliated by opening fire on the law enforcement officers, leading to a confrontation.
Police managed to apprehend two of the criminals and successfully recovered the stolen vehicle, cash, and jewelry.
