Humayun Saeed, Sohai Ali Abro return to television after over three-year break
Actors Humayun Saeed and Sohai Ali Abro would be returning to television after more than a year’s break as the two would be seen in the drama ‘Gentleman’. Contrary to the trend, the premier of the drama was held at a cinema in Karachi.
“This is a new trend that the drama premiere is being held,” veteran actor Behroze Sabzwari said at the event. “The drama is very powerful as it has a strong cast, comprising Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, and Hamza Ali Abbasi.”
He expressed hope that the drama would be successful.
‘Gentleman’ is based on the story of a gangster set in Karachi. It is written by Pakistani screenwriter and director Khalilur Rehman Qamar. The drama will be aired on Green TV on Sunday (tomorrow) at 8pm.
Many different actors and actresses from the drama industry attended the premiere.
“Drama is a huge industry in Pakistan than films as they are seen in every household,” Abbasi said and added that ‘Gentleman’ was a different project and needed in the industry.

The Legend of Maula Jatt actor added that he would be seen on the big screen in the next two years.
Veteran actress Bushra Ansari was of the view the industry should try to explore different avenues to develop the industry.
When asked, she said that the film industry was at the nascent stage and needed time to develop.
