Pakistani television actress Madiha Rizvi and his husband Junaid Ali Pervaiz shared their concerns about getting married in a recent social media platform YouTube appearance.

Rizvi shared her goals and focus after marriage, while her husband spoke about his apprehensions about marrying an older, divorced woman with children.

Junaid Ali Pervaiz admitted that he initially had reservations about their age difference.

“I never thought about her age, it wasn’t a big deal for me,” he said.

He added that things worked out smoothly for them, and they married without much difficulty.

“But when it came to the children, I was a little worried. I had never been married before, and adjusting to children who were already grown up was a difficult task for me. It was a challenge because I had lived my entire life as a single person. I had to adjust my life according to my life partner and children,” he stated.

“So I was worried that he would marry me but eventually run away after a short period,” Madiha stated.

Madiha Rizvi also opened up about her apprehensions regarding her second marriage, especially to someone younger.

“I was a little worried about it because he was my cousin, and he was also younger and had never been married before,” she said. However, Junaid’s bond with her daughters eased her concerns.

“When I developed a good friendship with her daughters, I made up my mind about the marriage,” he said.

Madiha revealed that she had a condition during their Nikah ceremony that her daughters and Junaid would sit together on the ground so that there would be a sense of family and a strong bond.
