Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law killed in road accident

A tragic road accident in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, on Saturday, resulted in the death of Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law and severe injuries to his sister. Reports state that Rakesh Tiwari, Pankaj Tripathi’s brother-in-law, lost his life, while his sister Sabita Tiwari sustained injuries in the incident.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident occurred around 4:30 pm at Nirsa Bazar on the Delhi-Kolkata National Highway-2 when the couple’s car collided with a road divider. The couple was en route to West Bengal from Gopalganj district in Bihar.

Both individuals were immediately transported to the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH) in Dhanbad, where doctors pronounced Rakesh Tiwari as “brought dead.” Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi’s sister, who suffered a leg fracture, is reported to be in a stable condition, according to Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gindauria, the Head of Emergency at SNMMCH, as reported by news agency PTI.

The police have stated that Rakesh Tiwari was driving the car himself when he lost control and collided with a road divider. Authorities are currently investigating the accident to determine the exact cause.

He has also gained significant recognition for his powerful portrayal of the character “Kaleen bhaiya” in the web series “Mirzapur.”
