PTI Chairman Gohar Khan has removed Sher Afzal Marwat from the party’s focal persons list, sources said on Tuesday as internal rifts within the party increase.

They added that Marwat, known for his outspoken demeanour, has also been removed from the list of giving names for meetings.

In a rally on Sunday, visuals showed that Marwat did not let the party chairman address the crowd. The former ruling party has been protesting against the alleged rigging in elections.

The lawyer has also been asked by the chairman to dissolve his social media team. Sources said that the decision was taken on the core committee’s recommendation.
