Gold prices increase in Pakistan after hike in international market
Price increases by Rs1,800 per tola
Gold prices increased by Rs1,800 per tola in Pakistan on Wednesday, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The latest increase took the price of gold in Pakistan to Rs228,300 per tola.
The price per 10 grams increased by Rs1,544 to Rs195,730.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $18 to $2,179 per ounce.
Spot platinum fell 0.1% to $923.45 per ounce, palladium dropped 0.5% to $1,036.44 and silver shed 0.3% to $24.08, according to Reuters.
