Lahore High Court has approved the construction of a 30-storey building in Lahore’s Gulberg.

The judgement to allow the construction of the building was announced by Justice Shahid Karim on Tuesday.

The petitioner, named Nooruddin, had challenged the construction of the building saying it was being planned in a residential area against the law.

The petitioner had argued that no building above 90-feet in the area.

Sahibzada Muzaffar Ali represented Lahore Development Authority in the case which was ultimately decided in his favour.
