PTI leader claimed Qadir was abducted
Waseem Qadir, a PTI-backed independent candidate who won Lahore’s NA-121, announced joining Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Sunday.
Qadir, who was also the general secretary of PTI Lahore, announced joining the party after meeting PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz in Lahore.
It is pertinent to mention that the PTI-backed candidate had defeated PML-N’s Shaikh Rohai Asghar in the February 8 election.
PTI leader Hammad Azhar on the other hand claimed that Qadir was abducted before he announed joining the PML-N.
