Singer Bilal Saeed has finally addressed the recent incident where he flung a mic at a member of the crowd in the middle of a performance.

The singer had thrown the mic during an event in Lahore while singing Ku Ku after an apparent altercation with the crowd member. He had then stormed off the stage. The whole thing had been caught on video and had gone viral on social media.

However, Saeed posted a story on Instagram on Sunday saying he should not have left the stage.

“I love my fans and sometimes that love can be overwhelming for both sides,” Saeed wrote.

“It wasn’t the first time someone was misbehaving in the crowd but it was definitely the first time I gave the wrong reaction,” he added.

He also said that the stage has always been his ‘whole world’ and that he has felt complete and alive while performing. He went on to say that he forgets his worries while performing.

“And no matter what, nothing should have come in the way of me and the respect that my stage deserved from me,” he said.

The 12 saal singer has made a dedicated following for himself over the years and is regularly seen performing live.
