An Indian woman has claimed to have found a cockroach in her meal at a private hotel in Bengaluru, India Today reported on Friday.

The woman who is a lawyer said that the insect was found in her meal (paneer gravy).

“She then began recording a video with her mobile phone in the kitchen, capturing the meal preparation when the hotel staff allegedly dragged, pushed, and threatened her,” a senior police official said.

Police have registered a case against two members of the hotel and an investigation was under way.

Last year, a Zomato customer from the above mentioned city claimed that he got a cockroach in his food.

Harshitha had ordered chicken fried rice. She shared a video of the incident on social media and requested an “immediate resolution” from the online food delivery platform.
