Ustad Hussain Bakhsh Gullo passes away
A renowned classical singer from Pakistan, Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo passed away on Tuesday in Lahore.
He was the son of the well-known vocalist Ustad Nathu Khan, who was a part of Patiala Gharanaa, a well-known classical music group.
Ustad Fateh Ali Khan and Ustad Ali Baksh Khan established the Patiala Gharana, a social group that unites Hindustani classical performers. He is a member of the renowned musical houses Shamchaurasi and Patiala.
Due to his proficiency in thumri and kafi singing, Gullo is highly regarded in the industry and is well renowned for his flawless singing abilities.
The Government of Pakistan had bestowed upon him an award called Pride of Performance.
Suraj and Chand Gullo’s two surviving kids are both vocalists.
Caretaker minister Murtaza Solangi has expressed sadness over the loss of Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo passed away.
