Sindhi Culture Day is being celebrated on Sunday, with rallies and events expected in multiple cities.

The day celebrates Sindh’s cultural history with traditional caps and ajraks galore and hopes to keep rich traditions alive. Traditional foods are also prepared and eaten on this day.

In Karachi, the main event for Sindhi Culture Day will be organised near the Karachi Press Club with a large crowd expected to attend.

The Sindhi Culture Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday in the month of December. It was first declared a provincial holiday in 2010 by then Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah.
