Muzammil Qureshi and Khawaja Sohail Mansoor of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) have joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

PPP leader Saeed Ghani stated at a press conference on Tuesday that MQM wants to seize the city but it is not going to happen.

According to Saeed Ghani, several former leaders of MQM-P have joined the PPP. MQM intimidates people, it is inappropriate, and political workers and all other citizens are free to practice their own politics, he added.

He claimed that while members of the MQM joined other parties, the PPP, which is now the biggest and most powerful party in Karachi and won the local body elections, is growing in popularity in the city.

Saeed Ghani said that Khawaja Mansoor, Saifyar Khan, Waseem Qureshi, Muzammil Qureshi and others are with me, they were earlier related to MQM, and now they are active workers of PPP.

The PPP leader said that MQM is doing this to scare the people and every citizen has the right to join whichever party he wants. The situation has changed.

Saeed Ghani said that MQM is requested to do its political struggle, the language of hooliganism and misbehavior will not be tolerated in any way. MQM should do positive politics and refrain from threats and intimidation.

He also said that more MQM people will join the PPP, i offer condolences to Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on the death of his mother.

On this occasion, Khawaja Sohail Mansoor said that MQM people hanged loot on their homes, I think they will keep their election symbol.

Khawaja Sohail Mansoor said that everyone is coming from his heart, no one is brought in the car at gunpoint, and we are all working together for the welfare of Karachi.
