Hajj 2024: Cabinet approves digitization of pilgrim’s data
The caretaker federal cabinet approved the Hajj policy for the year 2024.
While holding a press conference in Islamabad, Caretaker Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Aneeq Ahmed said that he worked for three months on the Hajj Policy 2024, and wanted to receive the prayers of the pilgrims.
He said that caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar guided every step in making the Hajj policy, while the Saudi government also fully supported us.
The caretaker federal minister said that the Hajj policy was approved by the cabinet on Wednesday and Hajj 2024 will be digitized, every pilgrim will have an app on his mobile phone, with the help of which no pilgrim will go missing.
Aneeq Ahmed said that the app will work even without the internet, apart from this, all arrangements for Hajj have been completed, and we have also inspected the transport and hotels.
He further said that all women going for Hajj will be given an Abaya by the government with the Pakistani flag printed on it.
